If she was still alive, Simone was completing 106 years old. But, even after death, it's still a great icon and inspiration of the feminist movement.

For a long time, society and culture that defined the role of women was to stay under house arrest, being a mother, wife and take care of the House, the other being the option go to a convent. Simone breaks up with this "fate" feminine and makes your life something new and completely different than expected for a woman, creating a lot of controversy in the social scenario in which he lived, becoming the target of constant criticism.

I have a great admiration for this woman, and especially for their theses existentialists, who argue that each is responsible for himself. Simone had a great power of choice about your own life, a result of their education and development, which, until today, is the primary tool that creates powerful women and independents.

His most famous works:
  • L ' Invitée-1943
  • OUs les Hommes sont Mortels-1946
  • Le Deuxième Sexe-1949
  • Mémoires d'une jeune fille rangée-1958
Happy Birthday Simone, wherever you are!!
XOXO
