TROPICAL FRUIT CRUMBLE

Crumble de frutos tropicais
Preparation: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 50 minutes
INGREDIENTS - (for 4 people)
2 mangoes, cut into strips
1 seedless papaya, cut into strips
225 g of fresh pineapple, diced
1 + 1/2 tsp ginger powder
100 g margarine
100 g brown sugar
175 g plain flour
50 g of dried coconut, and some more for garnish
PREPARATION:
-Place the fruit in a saucepan with 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, 30 g of margarine and 50 g of sugar. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes until the berries are soft. Pour the fruit for the base of a shallow baking dish.
-Mix the flour with the rest of the ginger. Add the remaining butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Add the remaining sugar and the coconut and pour over fruit to cover completely.
-Bake tropical fruit crumble in the oven pre-heated, the 180° C for about 40 minutes, until the top is crispy. Garnish the fruit crumble with coconut and serve.
